
Aimee has a Master of Arts in Counseling and is a National Board Certified Counselor, a member of the American Counseling Association, and a member of the Colorado Counseling Association. She is currently working towards her state licensure under the supervision of Dr. Beth Ballen. Aimee treats a range of mental health issues including mood, anxiety, adjustment and eating disorders. For her internship, Aimee worked in geriatric counseling and had the honor of working with some of the most unique individuals from the “Greatest Generation.” For the past 3 ½ years Aimee has worked as a counselor and clinician at Highlands Behavioral Health System, a psychiatric hospital which provides crisis stabilization for acute mental health disorders. Aimee utilizes evidenced based clinical practices to best treat each of her clients specific treatment needs.
Aimee is married and has two dogs who are considered furry, little sons. In her spare time Aimee enjoys reading, going on walks, and playing Wii.
